Eden Organic certainly seems like the sort of company which WOULD use a BPA-free lining for their cans, and in the case of beans, that’s apparently true. However, contrary to what other reviewers have said above, their tomatoes do come in cans whose linings contain BPA– just like ALL OTHER CANNED TOMATOES!

I’m not sure what to do about canned tomatoes now– and I use a lot of them. You can find some packed in jars (I believe they’re Italian)– not nearly as convenient as cans. I’m just hoping the Consumer Reports exposé gets the industry working faster on producing a non-poisonous lining.

Eden’s canned tomato products are excellent. The cans are lined to prevent the acidic tomatoes from coming in contact with the metal from the can. Very well done! I teach a variety of cooking and health workshops and I am a certified holistic health coach and these are the only brand of tomato I can confidently recommend! Eden is also a small dedicated organic company, so I feel I can’t go wrong supporting them.

Again Eden Organic puts out a truly safe bpa-free product that is versatile and tastes great. I use these tomatoes all of the time. Anytime a recipe calls for tomatoes I reach for these and they work nicely each and every time. Sometimes I puree them to work with the recipe, sometimes I add them last so they maintain their chunky texture, other times I just let them stew down. I’ve yet to try them and they not work. I bought 24 and need more!

Excellent product from excellent company. Note that Eden’s cans are free of bisphenyl-A, which makes it unique from other brands. Highly recommend… and of course, excellent price from Amazon.

The best canned tomatoes I’ve ever eaten. I can’t eat any other brand, Eden has me spoiled with the best.
