thanks again for the info. xxx
Hi Marinda, It’s the lactose. Cow milk and I are not at all on a friendly basis. It does not make nice with my gut. Cheese, ice cream, butter you name it. Can’t do it. I have been using almond milk as an alternative to the soy.

@ladeedah: i have readrd that. Thx anyway but we are not pork eaters.

That sounds simply delicious, however, out dieting does not allow for fat. I haven’t had fat for years, so if I eat it now, I get the stomach runs for two days. We don’t fry anything, ever. Atkins is a good starter diet for obese people, just to get their weight off, but it is not a sustainable lifestyle. I don’t have a problem if someone wants to follow Atkins in the beginning, but most people who do Atkins or Burnstein, usually gain all the weight back when they stop.
Well, you basically get your crunch out of vegetables, fruits(eventually after fatloss when sugars are allowed again), as well as fish skin (salmon hmm) and protein pitas or eventually whole wheat pitas. Or you wait for your cheatmeal and eat every crunchy thing you can find, lol What is your issue with milk again?
There are no carbs in pork rinds or pork skins and they are crunchy. On the low-carb diets like Atkins, I’ve seen recipes where people even use crushed pork rinds as a breading for frying chicken and other meat in a little Pam cooking spray.
I don’t know how I missed this vid. Oh man am I getting nervous. One more carton of soy milk in the fridge & I will not be repurchasing any. I will need to find an alternative for it since it was the alternative for cow milk. So how does one begin to get over the missing crunch factor once you swear off all bread,cookies, pretzels etc.??
@jhheart307 : Also if you read the clinical trials, they say phyto-estrogens are READILY absorbed in the human body. If you would like some more reading material, I could send you the links I have:) Thanks Marinda
@jhheart307 : Soy actually contains phyto-estrogens. If you listen CAREFULLY, I say in my video that soy ACTS like estrogen in your body. I didn’t say it CONTAINS estrogen. Thanks for the input.
As I understand it, soy does not actually contain estrogen but rather molecules in soy mimic molecules of estrogen. Human digestive systems can’t really process soy unless it’s fermented. Not sure if this makes any difference in what you said.
You’ve got that right! When we are all said and done building muscle and loosing fat, we will all get together and bombard them with our muscles, and demand a change! that irritates me too. Plus a couple other youtube features.
And I hate how you cant edit. You have to delete the whole thing. YouTube needs more space, edit and better ways to reply instead of having to scroll through to find your posts.
@FutureFit123 double posting… again. Sorry.
Totja! And yes these little characters creep me out alltogether, when you type and the stupid thingy keeps running down, like a bloody bomb timer or something, LOL
LOL I meant, they eat those organic foods which are already low-glycemic (they don’t have to prepare anything either). I know organic foods are not lower in calories, fats, carbs, etc. just because thy are orgainic. If that was the case, that would be great. I would be on an all organic diet. lol Sorry for the confusion. I only have a limited amount of space to fit in what I’m trying to say in any given post.
I love it too! Junbuggy suits you, therefore I baptise you J-U-N-B-U-G-G-Y! There, now you can change your name officially!
Oh, you are so welcome! I have a 25 year medical background. Now I have to change my channel name to junbuggy….I love it!
Why thank you, junbuggy! Always nice to get confirmations for others to hear.
Eating soy can be problematic for women who are predisposed to or have had “female” cancers (breast, uterine) because of the increase in estrogen levels from eating soy products. Women, please check with your doctor/practitioner about injesting soy. What Miranda is saying is true.
Got it hunnybun, will contact you soon:)
I sent my info Friday, did you get it?
no need to do that- i have yet to check my mail ladys eyelids, I did not grow up where i live now- this place is really weird either hillbilly or rich upper crust- I saw a man in a little store i said merryXmas what did you get under the tree? he slowly says a COFFEEMAKER- i said want are your plans for Xmas? he said gonna make coffee- Another time i get out of the shower and find my mail woman in my living room!- i was shocked! she says heres your mail likes its normal! now i lock my doors X
Ha-ha-haaaa, I swear I’m gonna come over there and kick your butt!!!! Btw, I went and bought your other eyeprimer. I will send it out next week, and this time I’m putting it in a damn shoe box and insuring it for $1000-00. If some ugly old hag wants to steal it this time, at least we’ll make money from it.
))
There you go, a girl of my pointy old heart! I’m with you on this one, lol
Hunnybun, you guys are making this WAAAYYYY too complicated. I’m not on the organic kick and I’m sure if you would like to be, there are many gurus on youtube that can help you out. My main aim is fatloss and weight training, and that’s all I’m about. No organic worries here. I think I look and feel pretty healthy for a non-organic, non green, not giving an owls hoot about that stuff, type of person, LOL
